I have completed preliminary genetic studies and stability simulation for the Home Front Project. Tomorrow the extrapolation cross breeding studies and long range consumption simulations will need to be run. I am confident that these will have nominal environmental variables.
Personal note, Dances-the-Moon visited today with some, potentially useful news. My crafty warder has discovered that a refugee from this realm’s planet Krypton that has taken residence in the forest. He appears to be a large white wolf and calls himself, Krypto.
The warders have taken to calling him Sky Blaze. This is most likely in reference to his ability to fly. From what I remember from Joining with Kara, this creature has similar powers and abilities as she does as well as an advanced mind for a canine species.
Dances-the-moon had scented and been shadowing Krypto for some time. Though she was no match for his enhanced senses, she tracked him by Will, keeping tabs on his mind.
It seems that in this realm, he was aboard the spacecraft that brought Kal-El to this planet. His species was a kind of dog, but exposure to he energies of The Shard had somewhat devolved him into a more primitive form.
Though Krypto was mostly restored by some of Kara’s people and has an enhanced intellect, the effects of The Shard have caused a greater feralness in him. His former master is dead and there were those he feels close to, but they remind him of the loss of Kal-El.
Dances said that there was a deep pain in him. He hungers for something that he could not understand, did not have ‘words’ to describe. What I believe he is seeking is a sense of belonging. She said he is trying to learn what it is like to be part of a pack. I’m not sure that is going to work, because he does not have a group of peers equal to his power.
